An awesome country : Netherlands? All Holland attractions can be visited while camping in Zandstuve because Holland is a small country. We will discuss about what can you see in Netherlands and also offer some camping tricks.
Given the relatively small size of The Netherlands, all these attractions and fun things to do are within a relatively compact area, and the landscape is quite flat (the highest elevation is barely a thousand feet above sea level). Consequently, it’s extremely easy to do at least a little of your sightseeing the Dutch way: by bicycle. Many communities actively encourage the use of pedal-power and provide free bikes to explore the sights.
Situated in the north of the Netherlands is Volendam which makes a great day trip if you are also visiting neighboring Amsterdam. A small fishing village, Volendam is full of traditional Dutch delights such as wooden houses, clogs, and scenic landscapes. Volendam is so pretty that is was painted by greats like Renoir and Picasso and it has a dainty harbor that backs on to fisherman’s houses and more canals. The Houseboat Museum is one of the quirkiest museums in all of Amsterdam and sits on the water on one of its pretty canals. The boat is called Hendrika Maria and is furnished to give you a glimpse of how people have lived on these houseboats over the years. There are also displays of how life on houseboats has changed and pictures of the canals as they would have been in the days of old.
Camping advices: Bring Bread Tags to Use as Clothespins. Bread tags are one of the most underappreciated products around. They diligently hold bread bags closed, but rarely see any other purpose before being cast away. So next time you finish a loaf of bread, we challenge you to try them as clothespins on your next camping trip. This is one of our best family camping hacks, since bringing enough clothespins for a family’s laundry can steal a good amount of real estate inside a bag. Bread tags are not only cheap, but they also take up minimal space in your pack. So set a little dish aside and start collecting those bread tags. They will soon be doing their work in the sunshine, drying your clothes and keeping them securely fixed to the line. Read more details on https://www.zandstuve.de/.
Keukenhof Gardens is the world’s largest flower garden, and actually a promotion for the Dutch flower industry. Approximately seven million flower bulbs are planted annually in the park with not only tulips, but also hyacinths, daffodils and other spring flowers on display. The gardens are open from the last week in March to mid-May. Keukenhof is one of the most visit tourist attractions in the Netherlands.
